Host checklist
- MacReacher Host is running and sharing is explicitly on.
- Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions are granted in macOS Settings.
- The Mac is awake and connected to the expected LAN or VPN.
- The viewer is using the Mac's current username and password.
Connection checklist
- Try the LAN route while both devices are on the same network.
- Open Add Host to refresh nearby Bonjour discovery.
- For remote access, verify both devices can reach each other through Tailscale/VPN before opening MacReacher.
- Remove stale route text and re-enter the host name/address exactly as shown by the network provider.
Host identity changed
Do not reset the pin automatically. Confirm whether the host was reinstalled or its application data was reset. If neither occurred, stop and investigate the route before trusting the new identity.
Licence and billing
Use the private link from the purchase email or request a fresh link from licence retrieval. Never send a full licence key in an unencrypted support ticket. Subscription cancellation and receipts are managed through the merchant-of-record portal.
