Mac-first instead of help-desk first
MacReacher uses ScreenCaptureKit and hardware H.264 encoding on the host, with native Swift viewers on Apple devices and a native Kotlin viewer on Android. It is designed for an owner reaching their own Mac rather than unattended access to someone else's fleet.
Home and away routes
On the same network, the viewer connects directly to the host. For access away from home, save a route over Tailscale or another VPN you operate. MacReacher is not itself a VPN and does not ask you to expose its ports to the public internet.
More than a mirrored desktop
Choose a whole display, fit a virtual display to the viewer, or stream one application. The app switcher can list, launch and move between Mac apps without hunting through a scaled-down desktop.
What you need
A supported Mac must remain awake with MacReacher Host running and Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions granted. The remote device must be able to reach the Mac over the LAN or your private network route.
